So growing up, we would always hear funny stories from the kids book of Khaleh Sooskeh - or to all our American friends out there, Aunt Cockroach.
The basic story is: Khaleh Sooskeh wanted to get married. But all the guys out there either weren't good enough, or they wanted to beat her...totally appropriate for a kids book, right?? In the end, she finds her soulmate, Agha Moosh (Mr. Mouse) and they live happily ever after.
So here we are now, just two Persian cockroach sisters who will eventually find our Agha Moosh in life. And when we do, we will know how to feed him. We wanted to finally learn how to cook traditional Persian dishes from our family and started this blog as our way of preserving and sharing them.
*fun fact; a cockroach can live for up to one week without its head!
